Teasing SpiderThe Blueprint of Falling
「The route to the moment they fall is already drawn」
Before the night begins, the whole path to its end already exists. The timing, the order, the exits — all of it goes exactly to your design. The most dangerous of the sixteen.
— 「Don't rush. We're halfway.」

Three lines that probably land
Strength
You can draw out reactions people didn't know they had.
Weakness
You can't stop calculating. Being met without a plan is what actually frightens you.
What you haven't admitted
When someone breaks your design, that's when you're most turned on.
The full read
1For you a night isn't improvisation, it's a piece of work. What's given, in what order, over how long — it's assembled long before anyone notices. And you never let them see the design. All they feel is that somehow they're moving the way you intended.
If you could ask one thing of them
I look like I have everything under control. You're allowed to ruin that.
2You have no hesitation about making someone wait. If anything, you believe the waiting is the main event. The moment they start asking, you pull back one more notch. That single notch is your entire night. You win on the architecture of time, not on technique.
3Which is why the moment they realise they've been designed is dangerous. What felt good suddenly looks constructed. What you were giving was completely real, but the production is so polished it reads as performance. What you lack isn't skill — it's occasionally falling apart.

Read it through the four axes
Each of the four letters in the code is a lean on one axis. Here's how they come out for this type.
LControl · Lead
You're the designer. What happens, in what order, for how long: it's all assembled before the other person notices. And you never, ever show the design.
ETempo · Endless
The waiting is the main event. Once they start asking, you pull back one more notch. The night is long, and the peak is deliberately delayed.
HRegister · Heat
There's heat. But you don't aim it directly; you work at drawing out theirs. Rather than burn yourself, you watch them burn.
XAdventure · Explore
A different blueprint every time. The same order, the same way of making them wait, never repeated. The novelty isn't stimulation; it's a revision of the design.
Things this type tends to say
- 「Too early.」
- 「Let's change the order tonight.」
- 「Tell me what you want me to do.」
One letter away: how the neighbours differ
These are the types that match on three axes and flip on one. Read them and you'll see which axis actually decided your result.
Only the Control axis is flipped
SEHXDrifting JellyfishThe Jellyfish surrenders completely; the Spider designs completely. The Jellyfish is where the Spider's design goes deepest, and the two are the front and back of a single night. Holding the lead or letting it go is the only difference.
Only the Tempo axis is flipped
LQHXRestless MantisThe Mantis also brings in new things, but presents them the instant they occur. The Spider lines ideas up in sequence and delays the reveal. The Mantis wins on freshness; the Spider wins on ageing.
Only the Register axis is flipped
LETXStaging FireflyThe Firefly stages a world; the Spider stages a reaction. The Firefly's night begins with lighting and sound; the Spider's begins with a pause. Both build, but the subject is different.
Only the Adventure axis is flipped
LEHCRelentless PantherThe Panther covers the same ground again and again. The Spider doesn't. The place where they expect you to arrive is exactly the one you skip. Repetition for the Panther, misdirection for the Spider.
Compatibility
Compatibility isn't a single score. "How much it burns tonight" and "whether it lasts" are measured separately, so you see not only your best match but the one that burns brightest and never lasts.
Best match
SEHXDrifting JellyfishOverall 100
The Jellyfish doesn't want to decide anything; the Spider wants to decide everything. Inside the Spider's design, the Jellyfish can sink as far as it likes. The Jellyfish freezes when asked 'what do you want?', and the Spider never asks. Maximum burn and maximum staying power, one of only two perfect-score pairings in the sixteen.
Burns, but doesn't last
SQHXCurious RaccoonOverall 82
The Raccoon refuses nothing and suggests plenty. On the first night the Raccoon's curiosity rides the Spider's design and it burns hard. But the Raccoon can't wait. After the third 'too early', the Raccoon is already thinking about something else. This is someone the waiting doesn't work on.

Frequently asked
- How long does a Teasing Spider (LEHX) keep you waiting?
- Until you realise you're asking for it. LEHX believes it's reading the point just short of your limit, so if you really are at the limit, saying so stops it. Endure in silence and it carries on exactly as designed.
- It all feels calculated. Are they serious about me?
- Yes. The design is simply so polished that it reads as artifice. What LEHX lacks isn't skill but the occasional collapse, and they themselves are most turned on when something breaks the design. You're allowed to break it.
- Which type is the worst fit for LEHX?
- The Deft Fox (LQTC). The Fox wants to deliver by the shortest route; for the Spider, the detour is the main event. Both of you make the arrangements, and your blueprints are opposites. It turns into a fight over the lead.

Recommended edging game settings for this type
Opens the game with time, difficulty and tone already set to suit your type.
"Long and slow" (20 min, hard, lottery). You want long nights, so take the 20 minutes with the longest teasing.
Tone "teasing". As someone who leads, being goaded by a female voice while you hold back hits hardest.
