SEHX

Drifting JellyfishNo Edges Left

「You like it when the edges disappear」

You let go of deciding anything and hand yourself to the current. Of the sixteen, the one who finds the most pleasure in losing their own outline.

— 「I don't mind what happens now.」

Three lines

Three lines that probably land

  • Strength

You have a deep, quiet capacity to receive all of someone.

  • Weakness

So used to being carried that you can't say no.

  • What you haven't admitted

You've genuinely never checked what you like.

The read

The full read

1You surrender. They decide what happens; you change shape inside the flow. You don't resist — not out of passivity, but because your own edges dissolving is the point. The longer it takes, the further down you can get.

If you could ask one thing of them

Asking me what I want just stalls me. Decide, and I'll go much further.

2You don't refuse unusual things either. If anything, sensations you've never had take you further out. But that isn't adventurousness — it's a means of sinking deeper. Novelty, to you, is depth rather than stimulation.

3The risk is that wanting your edges gone makes you miss the moment to say no. Being carried feels good, so you stay silent in places you didn't want to be carried to. Your 'it's fine' isn't always real consent. That's the one line you have to draw yourself.

Four axes

Read it through the four axes

Each of the four letters in the code is a lean on one axis. Here's how they come out for this type.

  • SControl · Surrender

You surrender completely. They decide what happens, and the Jellyfish changes shape inside the current. You don't resist, not out of passivity but because the feeling of your outline dissolving is the whole point.

  • ETempo · Endless

Long. The longer it takes, the deeper you can go. Afterward, it takes a while before you come back.

  • HRegister · Heat

Instinct side. You want a night where reason leaves, and you want the state of 'whatever happens is fine' more than any particular thing you like.

  • XAdventure · Explore

You don't refuse new sensations. Not from adventurousness, but as a way to sink further. Novelty isn't stimulation; it's depth.

Things this type tends to say

  • 「You can decide.」
  • 「I don't mind what happens.」
  • 「...where was I just now?」
Neighbours

One letter away: how the neighbours differ

These are the types that match on three axes and flip on one. Read them and you'll see which axis actually decided your result.

  • Only the Control axis is flipped

    LEHXTeasing Spider

The Spider designs; the Jellyfish surrenders. The front and back of a single night, and the Jellyfish is where the Spider's design goes deepest. Holding the lead or letting it go is the only difference.

  • Only the Tempo axis is flipped

    SQHXCurious Raccoon

The Raccoon wants quick results and gets sleepy once satisfied. The Jellyfish takes hours to sink and can't come back even after it's over. Both never refuse, but for curiosity in one case and depth in the other.

  • Only the Register axis is flipped

    SETXDreaming Butterfly

The Butterfly moves into an illusion to become someone else, and is embarrassed in the morning. The Jellyfish sinks to lose itself, and can't come back in the morning. 'A different self' is the Butterfly; 'no self' is the Jellyfish.

  • Only the Adventure axis is flipped

    SEHCCoiling Snake

The Snake wants the contact to continue; the Jellyfish wants the edges to disappear. The Snake coils; the Jellyfish melts. Both long, both surrender, different destinations.

Compatibility

Compatibility

Compatibility isn't a single score. "How much it burns tonight" and "whether it lasts" are measured separately, so you see not only your best match but the one that burns brightest and never lasts.

Best match

LEHXTeasing Spider

Overall 100

The Jellyfish freezes when asked 'what do you want?', and the Spider never asks. Inside the Spider's design, the Jellyfish can sink as far as it likes. The Spider being most turned on at the moment its design breaks fits the Jellyfish's 'whatever happens is fine', too. One of the two pairings with maximum burn and maximum staying power.

Burns, but doesn't last

LQHXRestless Mantis

Overall 82

The Jellyfish accepts every one of the Mantis's ideas. On the first night the Mantis feels it's been allowed everything, and burns. But the Jellyfish's 'okay' is sometimes drift, and the Mantis's speed is far too fast. By the time the Mantis switches to the next thing, the Jellyfish is still down there and hasn't come back.

FAQ

Frequently asked

Is a Drifting Jellyfish's (SEHX) 'okay' real consent?
Not always, as their own profile says. SEHX finds being carried so comfortable that it stays silent even in places it didn't want to be carried to. Check once, in words, partway through: 'is this really okay?' That's the minimum courtesy with a Jellyfish.
They won't tell me what they like, even when I ask.
They aren't refusing; they don't know, because they've never checked. SEHX is the type that goes further when someone else decides. Narrow it to two options and they can usually answer.
Which type is the worst fit for SEHX?
The Clingy Fawn (SQTC). The Fawn wants confirmation that it's cared for; the Jellyfish finds pleasure in losing itself. Both surrender, so there's no starting point, and the temperatures don't match.
