Coiling SnakeUntil We Melt

「Don't let go until we've dissolved」

You want to spend hours tangled until the line between you disappears. You take the passive role and still refuse to let anyone leave.

— 「Don't go home yet.」

Three lines

Three lines that probably land

  • Strength

Nobody is better at making sure someone is never left alone.

  • Weakness

Unsatisfied, you start taking their time as well.

  • What you haven't admitted

You've always been afraid of the day they leave.

The read

The full read

1Your nights take time. A night that starts suddenly and ends suddenly isn't a night to you. Raise the temperature slowly, sink deep, and stay there as long as possible. When they say 'that was enough,' you aren't half full yet.

If you could ask one thing of them

I'm scared of being called too much. I'd still like to stay like this a bit longer.

2You don't need anything elaborate. What you want isn't novelty, it's density. The same position, the same place, only longer. Skin not leaving skin is the pleasure itself, which is why your nights change shape least and last the longest.

3Your possessiveness is the strongest of the sixteen. It doesn't come out as behaviour — it comes out as body heat. Don't let go, don't go home, don't take that hand away. To them it reads as deep love, and occasionally as not being able to breathe. Loosen your grip slightly and they come back on their own.

Four axes

Read it through the four axes

Each of the four letters in the code is a lean on one axis. Here's how they come out for this type.

  • SControl · Surrender

You don't lead, and you don't let go. The flow is theirs; you extend the night by taking their hand and not releasing it. Your possessiveness shows as body heat, not behaviour.

  • ETempo · Endless

Long. A night that starts suddenly and ends suddenly isn't a night. Raise the temperature slowly, sink deep, and stay there as long as you can.

  • HRegister · Heat

Density is what burns. Not novelty: skin not leaving skin is the pleasure itself. Few changes of position, and the longest night of all.

  • CAdventure · Classic

Same position, same place, just longer. You need nothing outside the classics.

Things this type tends to say

  • 「Don't go home yet.」
  • 「A bit longer, just like this.」
  • 「Am I heavy? ...Sorry. I'm still not letting go.」
Neighbours

One letter away: how the neighbours differ

These are the types that match on three axes and flip on one. Read them and you'll see which axis actually decided your result.

  • Only the Control axis is flipped

    LEHCRelentless Panther

The Panther corners you; the Snake coils around you and waits. Both long, both won't let go. The Panther decides when it ends; the Snake refuses to let it end.

  • Only the Tempo axis is flipped

    SQHCHonest Rabbit

The Rabbit wants it to arrive soon and surely; the Snake wants to stay melted for hours. Both surrender, both heat, both classic, with a threefold difference in length.

  • Only the Register axis is flipped

    SETCMoody Cat

The Cat gives a long night only to whoever it allows, and some days the mood never arrives. The Snake isn't swayed by mood, and once it starts it won't let go. Same length, different difficulty at the entrance.

  • Only the Adventure axis is flipped

    SEHXDrifting Jellyfish

The Jellyfish wants its edges gone and sinks deeper on new sensations. The Snake wants the contact to continue, not the edges to vanish. The Jellyfish wants to melt; the Snake wants to coil.

Compatibility

Compatibility

Compatibility isn't a single score. "How much it burns tonight" and "whether it lasts" are measured separately, so you see not only your best match but the one that burns brightest and never lasts.

Best match

LEHCRelentless Panther

Overall 93

A Panther that says 'I'm not letting this end' and a Snake that says 'don't go home yet'. Both long, neither changes position, both satisfy through density. The Snake absorbs the Panther's repetition; the Panther remembers the Snake's warmth. Maximum staying power.

Burns, but doesn't last

LQHXRestless Mantis

Overall 69

The Mantis's impulse pours heat into the Snake's long night all at once. The first night burns. But the Mantis is quick, switches fast, and is already thinking about the next thing once it's done. The hand the Snake has taken, the Mantis lets go of for its next idea. All the Snake is left with is the memory of being released.

FAQ

Frequently asked

Is a Coiling Snake's (SEHC) 'not letting go' too much?
Being called too much is what they fear most. SEHC's possessiveness is the strongest of the sixteen, but it comes out as body heat, not behaviour. Separating 'I don't want to leave' from 'I don't have time' in words gets through to them.
Are they unhappy with a short night?
Not unhappy; they just don't register it as a night. For SEHC, something that starts suddenly and ends suddenly isn't a night at all. On days it has to be short, leave even five minutes of contact afterward and it counts.
Which type is the worst fit for SEHC?
The Reckless Moth (SQTX). The Moth dives in short and withdraws when it's over; the Snake coils for hours and won't let go. Both surrender, and the lengths are opposites. The Snake's 'don't go home yet' is heavy for the Moth, and the Moth's exit is far too early for the Snake.
