Ravenous WolfInstinct Before Thought
「Your body moves before you decide anything」
The moment you want someone, your hand is already there. At night you answer with your body long before you find the words — and that unedited hunger is your sharpest weapon.
— 「I don't do the long way around.」

Three lines that probably land
Strength
Refusing to play games is what melts someone's guard faster than anything.
Weakness
The second you're satisfied, the part of you that thinks about them switches off.
What you haven't admitted
You genuinely don't know what you're supposed to say afterward.
The full read
1Your nights have no runway. You catch the exact second the air changes and close the distance in one movement. It's not unusual for things to have started before the other person finished getting ready. You're not bad at planning — you've just never felt the need. Wolves don't set traps. They run you down.
If you could ask one thing of them
Don't call me impatient. I'm not in a hurry — I just want you.
2You don't decorate. Unusual positions, long build-ups — to you these are detours away from the point. You are direct, honest, and completely unhidden, which means your heat arrives intact. Nobody else in the sixteen can hand someone the feeling of being wanted this plainly.
3But your directness leaves people behind. You arrive at full speed somewhere they're only halfway toward. The moment you feel finished, they were finally beginning. That gap in timing is the single largest hole in your night.
Owner's manual
Good at
- Saying what you want without dressing it up
- Never missing the moment the air changes
- Not making anyone wait
Bad at
- Building an atmosphere
- Being made to wait

How the night goes
- 01Almost no build-up; it starts abruptly
- 02Would rather stay pressed close than change anything
- 03Finishes early, and moves on just as fast
Read it through the four axes
Each of the four letters in the code is a lean on one axis. Here's how they come out for this type.
LControl · Lead
There's no step called 'inviting'. The moment after eye contact, you've already closed the distance. The lead isn't something you take; it's something you notice you're holding.
QTempo · Quick
The shortest possible build-up. Rather than wait for the body to warm up, you start before it does and let it catch up on the way. The whole night is among the shortest of the sixteen.
HRegister · Heat
Body heat over atmosphere. Lighting, music, none of it registers. The only thing you're watching for is the moment their breathing changes.
CAdventure · Classic
No interest in trying anything new. One road you know works, run flat out every time.
Things this type tends to say
- 「I can't wait. I can't.」
- 「Done? Okay, let's sleep.」
- 「Stop overthinking it. Come here.」
One letter away: how the neighbours differ
These are the types that match on three axes and flip on one. Read them and you'll see which axis actually decided your result.
Only the Control axis is flipped
SQHCHonest RabbitBoth of you can't wait, but the Wolf goes and grabs, and the Rabbit waits to be grabbed. Whether the night starts from you or from them is the only difference.
Only the Tempo axis is flipped
LEHCRelentless PantherBoth lead, both classic, both run on heat. The difference is what you do with time. The Panther passes over the same ground again and again to deepen it; the Wolf gets there in one pass and is finished.
Only the Register axis is flipped
LQTCDeft FoxThe Fox arranges things so a short night finishes sweetly. The Wolf doesn't arrange anything. The Fox has a sentence ready for afterward; the Wolf doesn't.
Only the Adventure axis is flipped
LQHXRestless MantisThe Mantis tries something different every time; the Wolf does the same thing at full strength every time. The Mantis wants to surprise someone. The Wolf has no intention of surprising anyone.
Compatibility
Compatibility isn't a single score. "How much it burns tonight" and "whether it lasts" are measured separately, so you see not only your best match but the one that burns brightest and never lasts.
Best match
SQHCHonest RabbitOverall 93
Same speed, opposite roles. The Wolf closes in, the Rabbit receives. Neither has patience for preamble, so you never argue about how long a night should be. The Rabbit says 'hurry' and the Wolf answers in a second.
Burns, but doesn't last
SEHXDrifting JellyfishOverall 69
The Jellyfish surrenders completely, so on the first night it absorbs all of the Wolf's directness. But the Jellyfish sinks slowly and deeply, and the Wolf's nights are short. It burns, and it doesn't last. The more nights you stack up, the more the Jellyfish is left with the feeling of being abandoned halfway down.
Least compatible LETXStaging Firefly Overall 38
Frequently asked
- How do I make it last with a Ravenous Wolf (LQHC)?
- Don't criticise the speed. Say 'that's it?' and the Wolf hears its heat being rejected. Saying 'a bit longer next time' the following day works far better. They're bad at talking afterward; that doesn't mean they've gone cold.
- Is the short build-up because they're not interested?
- The opposite. They can't wait because they're interested. LQHC shows wanting with the body, and the length of the preamble has nothing to do with the amount of feeling. If you want it longer, asking in words is the fastest route.
- Which type is the worst fit for LQHC?
- The lowest compatibility score is with the Staging Firefly (LETX). The Firefly wants to build a world before starting; the Wolf has no interest in the world. The speeds fail to match before anything has even begun.

Recommended edging game settings for this type
Opens the game with time, difficulty and tone already set to suit your type.
"Standard" (10 min, normal, lottery). A heat-driven type with little preamble gets the most out of a busy 10 minutes.
Tone "teasing". As someone who leads, being goaded by a female voice while you hold back hits hardest.
